Perhimpunan Pelajar Indonesia (PPIA) Queensland is an Indonesian Student Association for all Indonesian students who currently studies in Queensland, Australia. It is one of the 8 state-level chapters of Perhimpunan Pelajar Indonesia (PPIA) that has been established since March 13, 1981 which has objective to accomodate and unify all the Indonesian students across Australia. PPIA Queensland itself has another 7 institution-level branches that spread over Queensland, which include The University of Queensland (UQISA), Queensland University of Technology (ISAQ), Griffith University (ISAGU), James Cook University (JCU), Bond University (BISA), and PPIA Youth.
The main objective of PPIA Queensland is to fulfil the academic and non-academic need of Indonesian Students in Australia, especially in Queensland. In addition, it also serves as medium of communication and interaction for all Indonesian students in foreign community where they can establish a strong sense of solidarity and gives contribution to the nation.
